Dry sterilization is a highly effective method for sterilizing heat-resistant instruments and materials using controlled high temperatures without moisture. It is particularly suitable for metal instruments, glassware, powders, and oils where steam processing is not appropriate.
The TauSteril 2000 Dry Sterilizer and the TauSteril Portable Automatic Dry Sterilizer are engineered to deliver precise temperature control, uniform heat distribution, and reliable performance across laboratory and clinical environments. The Automatic TauSteril 2000 has been specifically designed to meet all medical requirements in the sterilization sector. Extremely robust, this equipment is controlled by a fully automatic system and guarantees total safety, built in accordance with European Safety Regulations.
Among its main construction characteristics, the most notable features include:
🟦 External structure: glazed stainless steel front panel and door; sides and back constructed of sheet steel fully painted with epoxy powder.
🟦 Internal structure: 18/8 satin non-corrosive stainless steel sterilization chamber, reflecting heat for rapid temperature achievement, ensuring perfect heat distribution and considerable energy savings.
🟦 Insulation: hermetically sealed door with heat-resistant silicone rubber seal; caulked with special resin-coated glass fibre to prevent heat transmission to the external structure.
🟦 Thermostat: automatic capillary bulb model with auto-regulation from 90°C to 200°C, complete with switch in accordance with international safety standards.
🟦 Timer: adjustable from 0 to 120 minutes for automatic power regulation of the thermostat, with automatic switch-off; manual operation is available for durations exceeding 120 minutes.
🟦 Resistance: 600 W stainless steel heating element with diffuser for high efficiency, low thermal inertia, and immediate operation; bayonet connection allows for quick and easy replacement (patented).
