High Sensitivity Fluorescence Cameras
Fluorescence microscopy requires cameras with high sensitivity and low noise, capable of detecting the often very low fluorescence levels emitted by specimens. These cameras are designed to capture as many photons as possible, ensuring clear, accurate, and reliable imaging even under challenging illumination conditions.
Traditionally, fluorescence cameras employ CCD sensors, though scientific-grade CMOS (sCMOS) options are increasingly available, offering greater sensitivity, faster frame rates, and excellent stability.
