Automated Membrane Permeation Analyzer – MBR
The MBR is an automated membrane permeation analyzer designed for precise testing of gas-permeable membranes. It offers a fully controlled environment to evaluate gas separation performance, making it ideal for membrane research and material screening.

Automated Membrane Permeation Analyzer
The MBR is a dedicated membrane testing reactor for studying the selective gas permeation properties of membrane materials for separation and purification applications. It is a fully automated system, and is supplied with an integrated close-coupled mass spectrometer.
Benefits of MBR
🔺 Automated membrane gas permeation reactor with integrated mass spectrometry
🔺 Optimized for operation to 10 bar with minimized dead volume
🔺 Precision-engineered membrane cell with unique integral support structure
Applications

The MBR is designed for studying the selective gas permeation properties of membrane materials in separation and purification applications. It can be configured to operate in either co-current flow mode or cross flow mode, depending on specific application needs.
In co-current flow mode, a gas mixture is introduced upstream of the membrane at a controlled pressure and composition, while a helium sweep gas flushes the downstream side. The resulting gas composition is analyzed to evaluate the separation performance of the membrane.
In cross flow mode, the MBR operates without a sweep gas, and membrane performance is determined by directly comparing the upstream and downstream gas compositions.
