Description

ELISA Kits

The ready-to-use ELISA kits (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) from FineTest® Biotech Inc. are among the most reliable and widely used options for biochemical analysis. With over 3,000 high-sensitivity kits, they cover more than 16 species, ranging from common species like human, rat, and mouse, to rarer ones like bovine, birds, and dogs.

Various types of ELISA are available, such as sandwich, competitive, and indirect, providing flexibility and adaptability for different applications.

The reliability of the kits is demonstrated by over 3,300 scientific publications in reputable international journals.

FineTest® is a leader in the field of ELISA kits, offering reliable solutions for diagnosis and research. With over 3,000 high-sensitivity products, it covers a wide range of applications and has broad recognition in the scientific community.

01 Sensitivity

For low concentration of the detection target, please select high sensitivity ELISA kit. Sensitivity corresponds to 3 times the standard deviation of the blank.

FineTest® has the unique signal amplification technology, which can flexibly adjust the kit’s sensitivity. The highest sensitivity can achieve fg/ml to improving customers’ sample detection rate.

02 Specificity

Judge the ability of other molecules binding with kit’s antibody. Lower cross-reaction shows higher specificity. Usually, cross-reaction should not happen among the kit, the protein in the same species and family, common factors(e.g. heterophilic antibody, rheumatoid factor etc.) in the same protein serum of other species, and target protein-interacting proteins. Three strategies for improving specificity:

➡️Raw material: selected polyclonal and monoclonal antibody pair;

➡️Reaction solution system: optimize coated buffer, sample dilution buffer and antibody dilution buffer to resist matrix effects;

➡️Optimized detection sample: The ability of natural antigen and recombinant proteins binding with capture antibody has an effect on detection value due to changes in protein conformation after binding.

03 Precision

Also called reproducibility, the parameter for evaluating errors during repeated assay for the same sample. Intra and inter CV should be less than 10%.

FineTest® uses the machinary production, excluding artificial instability. Conduct the sample loading with electronic pipettor and automated microplate coating machine. Strictly control intra and inter CV.

04 Recovery

Usually, measure the recovery by spike-in. The recovery between 80%-120% is acceptable. Measure by adding standard into natural sample mechanism. Set the natural sample matrix without standard as blank control. Recovery is the ratio between measured target concentration and added standard concentration, calculated with percentage. Higher or lower recovery will produce false-positive or negative results and affects the detection accuracy.

05 Linearity

Add suitable concentration of standard, and dilute at 2x, 4x and 8x respectively. Measure the relevant recovery under each concentration. The recovery between 80%-120% is acceptable.

06 Stability

Usually, validate by accelerated destructive experiments. Store the sealed ELISA kit at 37℃ and 2-8℃ for a long time to examine deviation of various performance indicators. Less than 10% deviation is acceptable. The better stability shows the longer storage time.

FineTest® developed a stabilized system, which can store the ELISA kit at 40℃ for one week. The activity is still higher than 95%. Most ELISA kits can be stored at 4℃ for 2 years. The activity can still have 85-95%, basically not affecting the kit’s working and accurate results.

07 Natural sample testing

Finally, ELISA kits can detect natural sample and suitable sample type. Judge sample type according to the property of target in advance, and detect a mimimum of 5 samples. Provide sample data to our customers when necessary.
