Products Include:

🔵 T4 DNA polymerase

Reaction buffer included. Form: solution, concentration 3 U/µl.

➤ Description

T4 DNA Polymerase is a template-dependent polymerase that catalyzes 5′-3′ synthesis from primed single-stranded DNA. The enzyme also has 3′-5 ‘exonuclease activity. The T4 DNA polymerase has no 5′-3 ‘exonuclease activity.

The 3′-5 ‘exonuclease activity is much higher for ssDNA compared to dsDNA.

T4 DNA polymerase is active in most buffers used in PCR, reverse transcription, ligation buffer and in most buffers for restriction enzymes

🔵 Tornado™ DNAse

Recombined engineered DNAse I with increased processivity. Concentration: 2 U/µl.

➤ Description

Tornado™ DNAse (RNase-free) is an endonuclease that digests ssDNA, dsDNA and DNA in DNA-RNA complexes. The enzyme contains an additional domain responsible for the effective binding of a substrate DNA. The result is a versatile nuclease that possesses remarkably higher affinity towards dsDNA, even in the nM range of the DNA concentration.

➤ Applications

●Removal of contaminating genomic DNA from RNA samples
●Removal DNA matrix post in vitro transcription.
●Study of DNA-protein interactions by DNase I footprinting
●Preventing false positive PCR results in one-step RT-qPCR

🔵 BacBreaker

Bacteria enzyme mix for lysis of Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. Form: solution.

➤ Description

BacBreaker is a unique mixture of enzymes that effectively lyses the cell walls of Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. Enzyme mix activity is synergistic. Using mixture leads to significantly increased yield of bacteria lysis.

🔵 Exonuclease V (RecBCD)

Recombinant enzyme that cleaves linear single-stranded and double-stranded DNA in both 3′ to 5′ and 5′ to 3′ directions. Concentration 10 U/µl.

➤ Description

Exonuclease V is a complex of recombinant RecB, RecC and RecD proteins from E. coli. Enzyme has a helicase and nuclease activity. In the presence of ATP catalyzes exonucleolytic cleavage in both 3′ to 5′ and 5′ to 3′ directions to yield 5′ phosphooligonucleotides.

➤ Advantages

  • DNA specific exonuclease that has ssDNA and dsDNA exonuclease activity and ATP-dependent ssDNA endonuclease activity.
  • Cleaves ssDNA and dsDNA in both 3′ to 5′ and 5′ to 3′ directions.
  • Degrades linear ssDNA and dsDNA leaving intact supercoiled and circular dsDNA.

IDEAL FOR

  • DNA/RNA manipulation (e.g., synthesis, degradation)
  • Protein analysis (e.g., purification, modification)
  • Bacterial lysis (e.g., disrupting cell walls)
  • PCR (e.g., amplification)
  • Cloning and sequencing (e.g., gene editing, amplification)
  • Diagnostics and research (e.g., laboratory testing, molecular studies)
