Freezing Container

The BIOLOGIX freezing container is designed to deliver a controlled cooling rate of −1 °C per minute, helping protect cell integrity during cryopreservation. Featuring a built-in foam layer and requiring isopropanol pre-filling, it enables reliable and reproducible freezing by minimizing damage caused by rapid temperature changes. The container is suitable for use in −80 °C mechanical freezers.

☑️ Requires pre-filling with 250 mL isopropanol before use
☑️ Achieves controlled cooling rate of −1 °C per minute
☑️ Model 90-7218: 18 holes (14.55 mm), suitable for 1.0 mL, 1.2 mL, 1.5 mL, 1.8 mL, and 2.0 mL cryogenic vials
☑️ Model 90-7312: 12 holes (14.55 mm), suitable for 1.0 mL, 1.2 mL, 1.5 mL, 1.8 mL, 2.0 mL, and 5.0 mL cryogenic vials
☑️ Place container in −80 °C mechanical freezer after loading samples
☑️ Store at room temperature when not in use
☑️ Replace isopropanol after fifth use
