Staining Jars Hausser/Gedigk
Three-piece staining set made of durable soda-lime glass and stainless steel, ideal for processing up to 60 microscope slides.
The Hausser/Gedigk staining set consists of three different products, each with its own product code:
- Glass Dish (Code: 4200012): Made of durable soda-lime glass, dimensions 130 x 93 x 121 mm.
- Glass Cover (Code: 4200013): Soda-lime glass cover with a frosted rim (10 mm width), dimensions 130 x 93 x 3 mm.
- Staining Tray (Code: 6618005): Made of stainless steel, designed to hold up to 60 microscope slides measuring 76 x 26 mm.
Soda-lime glass should not be exposed to sudden temperature changes due to its relatively high coefficient of expansion. Gradual heating and cooling are recommended to prevent stress cracks.
The Hausser/Gedigk staining set is named after the innovative techniques and equipment developed by the scientists Hausser and Gedigk. These pioneers in microscopic analysis made significant contributions to improving staining procedures for microscopic applications, delivering enhanced precision and user convenience.
