Description

Microhematocrit tubes are used for the centrifugation of blood samples. When samples are not immediately sealed with wax and centrifuged, heparinized tubes should be used. The heparin coating delays blood clotting and is applied as a thin, uniform layer on the tube, ensuring rapid dissolution in the blood and preventing particle aggregation.
